James took Tuesday off and we spent the day in Odessa. I dropped the two of them off for Elizabeth's 2 year checkup and went to Wal-Mart with Amelia to get the nonperishables. We then had lunch at Golden Corral, where the new manager saw James changing Amelia's diaper on the floor of the men's room and apologized profusely and promised there would be a changing station soon.
We then hit the mall because it has the best playgrounds for Elizabeth. She blew right through naptime and had a blast. Amelia slept on Daddy while I scoured the clearance racks at Sears which are currently an ADDITIONAL 50% off! You can see Elizabeth's shopping enthusiam. She also went up and down the escalators several times in a row. I didn't get to look for anything for myself, though, because Amelia woke up and Elizabeth reached her limit when it came to standing in the checkout line.
James then drove around to put the girls to sleep while I got the perishables fron Wal-Mart. A quick stop for Slurpees and we coud finally start the hour drive home. I woke up yesterday morning feeling like a truck had hit me.

I am exhausted just reading about it! Going to just one store with my kids is brutal. Looks like you got a lot done though.
Amelia loved looking at all the stores while we were walking to the other playground Elizabeth had gone to. She fell asleep on the way, though. She stayed asleep until I had to go get Elizabeth out of the arcade by the playground. She heard the theme music from Deal or No Deal and found that they have an arcade game for it. You win up to 400 tickets (like skeeball) based on what's in your case. She sat on the stool and watched it for a few minutes trying to figure out how to get it to work. When she got tired of that, she went to all of the driving games. Then she'd go back to the DoND game and sit on the stool some more and watch.
hmm sounds like a hangover... spiked slurpee??
Wow! What a busy little shopper she is! I like how everything around her in the picture is blurry, like she is shopping so fast! :)!
We only have to travel about 20 minutes for really good shopping (mainly grocery) and that is too far for me! When we do it with the kids it is exhausting. We always hit at least 3 stores and then give up and go home.
Audra-
She WAS running and James hurried out in front of her to snap the pic on his cell phone!
